Arrow steel sheds are strong and low-maintenance, but they are one of the slowest kits to build. Owners on retailer sites report about 4.5 hours for a 5×4, 7.5 hours for an 8×6, around 15 hours for a 10×8 and, for one 10×8 with the foundation included, 25 to 30 hours with two or three adults.
Anton Assembler builds Arrow steel sheds for homeowners in Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bellevue, Kirkland and Redmond, with gloves, the right tools and a crew sized to the shed, and anchors the finished shed to your base.
Arrow sells the Select, EZEE and Arlington lines in many sizes. Send the model name and size and we confirm the parts list and crew.
| Size | Footprint | What owners report |
|---|---|---|
| 6×5 ft (EZEE) | 30 sq ft | A small shed. One review of a 5×4 reports 4.5 hours with two people, longer than expected. |
| 8×6 ft | 48 sq ft | One reviewer reports about 7.5 hours with two adults. |
| 8×8 ft (Select) | 64 sq ft | A common size at Tractor Supply and Canadian Tire; we plan a full day. |
| 10×8 ft | 80 sq ft | Reviews range from 15 hours to 25 to 30 hours with a foundation, with two or three adults. |
| 10×12 ft (Select) | 120 sq ft | A long roof run and many panels. We confirm crew size before the visit. |
Hundreds of fasteners. The kit comes with a large number of small bolts and screws. A panel fastened in the wrong order is hard to undo.
Sharp edges. Galvanized steel panels cut hands. We work with gloves and handle panels in pairs.
Two or three people. Reviewers generally recommend two or three people, and one owner of an 8×7 reports at least 15 hours for two men.
The base. The shed needs a prepared surface. One owner reports about 5 hours for the build once the surface was ready, and another spent 6 hours on a wood platform with two people.
An Arrow steel shed needs a flat, firm base: a concrete slab, compacted gravel with pavers or a treated-lumber platform. The sliding doors run in tracks, so an uneven base makes them bind. Metal sheds are light when empty and catch the wind, so we anchor the shed to the base. If you are unsure about your spot, send a photo and we will tell you what to change.
