The floor. The manufacturer’s FAQ says many kits include a free treated floor frame, while the floor decking is sold separately. Check the boxes and the parts list before assembly day.
Time. A weekend is the manufacturer’s estimate for building one yourself. A long day with a trained crew is what we plan for a shed of this kind.
Wood. Reviewers mention that the wood is sometimes difficult to work with and that the build takes patience. Panels must be matched to the right positions, and a mistake early in the sequence shows up at the roof.
Installed versions. Handy Home sells professionally installed versions through retailers, with regional timeframes that one listing gives as 3 to 6 weeks. If you already have the kit, we assemble it.
A wood shed needs a flat, well-drained base: a concrete slab, compacted gravel, pavers or a treated-lumber platform. Wood on a wet or uneven base rots and racks, and then the doors stop closing. If you are unsure about your spot, send a photo and we will tell you what to change before assembly day.
